What does faggoted mean over there? It's something completely different in the States.

Drank, ate, picked up a Commodore with my brother.
Only thing missing was branding a giant aussie flag while doing so.

Is getting 'faggoted' something like the U.S. use the word faggot (vulgar term for a homosexual male) or U.K. faggot (traditionally made from pig's heart, liver and fatty belly meat or bacon minced together, with herbs added for flavouring) or something different altogether?

Where are you from that a synonym for an offensive word is an even more offensive word?

I'll have to check with my mum - she's Australian - but I'm fairly sure it's a bit of both, like it is here. We mostly use it to mean, well, faggots, but we're all aware of the American usage—even if I've never actually heard it used as such here... Largely because it's hard for a slur to carry much heft when you have to take a second to consider whether they're trying to insult you, or simply referencing a surprisingly tasty assemblage of offal.

It's a lot easier to be offended than to be offensive. No homophobic themes here.
Australia is the answer by the way.

I honestly don't care where you're from, but I should be able to come to an automotive website without seeing either one of those words. You know full well that they're offensive, and that this site is largely populated by Americans, yet you choose to use those words anyways - even when multiple people point out that it's offensive. So you have made a choice to be offensive. Someday when you grow up you'll realize that being a jerk on the internet isn't worth it.

I'm sorry, language like that is part of the lexicon here and I didn't even think twice about it.
I'm probably as grown up as I'll ever be so my sincerest apologies. Don't want to make this great place less enjoyable to for any of the readers.
Thanks for limiting the "patriotism".
